Research and Courses
Research is a part of the advancement of knowledge and services in sports medicine field. The worldwide research evidence on physical activities, namely exercise and sport had brought the world to the understanding of the importance of physical activity in maintaining one’s health. The world has commit on reduction and management of national and global health risks, that will reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being to reach the 3rd goal of Sustainable Development Goals, “GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING” by the year 2030.
The other important issues need to be covered is to ensure the safety and benefit of exercise and sport outweighed the risk to develop injuries, and a good program to ensure everybody to safely return to play/exercise is essential.
Sports medicine community in Universitas Indonesia is committed to always produce the best work to the sports and medical communities and all related subjects, the best work in research as well as courses to support quality sports medicine services. Since 2018, we are proudly conducting our research and courses in the Center for Sports and Exercise Studies, Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI) FKUI.
