This blog is maintained to facilitate my expressions and thoughts. It is also dedicated to share engineering education related information. I am a faculty member at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. To be honest, I am not only interested in computer science discourses, but also in social life, and of course education. Currently I am pursuing a PhD degree at the Department of Engineering Education, Utah State University, one of few universities in the U.S. offers PhD program in Engineering Education major.

Since 2003, I have been involved in e-Learning related activities such as writing papers, coordinating e-Learning seminar, and providing tutorials at many institutions regarding how to use learning management system and develop e-Learning contents. I am currently active at  Lab Digital Library & Distance Learning Fasilkom UI. Research domains I am interested in include distance learning, technology-enhanced learning, cognition, metacognition, mental models, conceptual change, computer science education, and personalized learning.

While demonstrating Learning Management System used by Fasilkom UI in an event titled “Konferensi Nasional Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) untuk Indonesia Membangun TIK Lintas Sektoral Secara Integratif dan Sinergis”. It was successfully held on 25-26 April 2007 at Birawa Hall, Bidakara, Jakarta.
